The Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California

The Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California was incorporated in 1955, and has been continuously contributing to the advancement and well-being of Cairn Terriers in Southern California ever since. As the only AKC licensed Cairn Terrier club in Southern California, the CTCSC stays busy with a variety of activities:
An AKC sanctioned specialty show is held annually, and regular "B" matches are also presented by the CTCSC.

Grooming and handling assistance is made available at the matches to allow interested
parties to become acquainted with showing of Cairn Terriers.

The CTCSC provides a wide range of health-related educational opportunities to members and the public. Recent activities include CERF testing (eyes), oral hygiene clinics, grooming demonstrations and a seminar on auto-immune deficiency syndrome in canines. Our club newsletter consistently includes articles pertinent to the breed, helping to keep members and subscribers up-to-date on the latest information and events.
The club is currently working to encourage more Cairn Terriers and their owners to get involved with earthdog, agility, obedience and therapy dog activities. Watch this site or contact the CTCSC for more information on getting you and your dog(s) involved with any of the aforementioned activities!
