We are Southern California's only AKC-licensed Cairn Terrier club, dedicated to the preservation and improvement of the breed.
The Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California was incorporated in 1955, and has been continuously contributing to the advancement and well-being of Cairn Terriers in Southern California ever since.
The CTCSC stays busy with a variety of activities: An AKC sanctioned specialty show is held annually, and regular "B" matches are also presented by the CTCSC.
Grooming and handling assistance is made available at the matches to allow interested parties to become acquainted with showing of Cairn Terriers.
The CTCSC provides a wide range of health-related educational opportunities to members and the public. Recent activities include CERF testing (eyes), oral hygiene clinics, grooming demonstrations and a seminar on auto-immune deficiency syndrome in canines.
