Submit Photo, Info For Awards

Members of the CTCSC who earned an American Kennel Club title for their dog in 2009 are eligible to receive a CTCSC annual award.

To get your award you must submit a print of the dog that is 5 inches by 7 inches or can be cropped to 5 inches by 7 inches.

Please DO NOT send it via email; this must be a photo print. The photo does not have to be a show photo.

You also need to send a copy of the AKC Certificate, which shows the date the title was won, the correct spelling of the dog’s name and the owner’s names.

This must be received by Awards Chairman Kathleen Spelman no later than MAY 1. Any photos received after that day will be processed but may not be done in time for presentation at the Annual Meeting in June. If you cannot be present at the Annual Meeting please arrange to have someone accept it for you.

Brag: Rocky Makes Dog of the Week

Congratulations to Anne Dove for her Cairn Terrier Rocky being named Dog of the Week at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Here is what Anne says about the recogition:

My friend works for LA State Historic Park near downtown LA and their blog has a regular "dog of the week" feature. I took Rocky over there at lunch earlier this week and now he's DOTW! He especially enjoyed meeting the goats that were there to do weed abatement.
